Good morning,

My name is Jarno Cordia, and this is a newsletter from the Fly Like Brick Birdman team.

Through these emails we will keep you updated on European wingsuit events (mostly Belgium and Holland) and other wingsuit related news and developments. We will try and put out an email roughly once a month, depending on the amount of news and events.

Boogie season is starting, and after the great Texel event, the next one on the list is the 1st Schaffen wingsuit weekend.

26 and 27th of May (starting Saterday at 09.00 and Sunday at 10.00) Birdman Chief Instructor Rolf Brombach wil be at the dropzone with demosuits from Birdman.

He wil have a large demo fleet with him, with the whole Birdman product range.

From smal beginner suits to advanced suits like the S6 and Blade.

Price for renting a suit is 8,00 and a small contribution is asked for the First flight course.

First wingsuitdive with an instructor at the price of an extra jumpticket

bigway Flockingdives are planned out of a Cessna Grand Caravan

1 on 1 coaching for more experienced flyers is also possible at slotprice.

Several instructors and highly experienced flyers such as Rolf Brombach, Hans Schoeber, and our own FlyLikeBrick members, Costyn van Dongen and Alexandro Lopez Arce wil be present to coach you at all levels of flight, or just flock and fly with you in awesome small jumps and the first attempts at belgian bigways.

Camping is possible at the dropzone.

As a small extra, for those interested there is a balloonjump organised early in the morning on the 16th of june. Wingsuit flights are allowed, and exit altitude will be between 4000 and 7000 ft at the price of 110 euros. For more info and/or registration mail to ballonspringen@burningstuntmen.nl (42 of 50 slots already taken!)

The event at skydive Hoevenen (belgium) past weekend was a great succes.

Thanks to the efforts of bavo and the people running the dropzone, 6 new birds took to the skies, and some old birds got back into the nylon crack!

Congrats to Sfen, Jurgen, Alex, Tim, Gino and Sven and Stefan!

For those that havent seen it yet, our website has had a small overhaul.

New menu's and in the coming week, we'll also be changing the structure a bit for easyer browsing.

There is a new video tutorial in the works for the video flight manual section.

There is also a huge new media library. You can now view al of our video's online in our online theater.

For those who prefer downloading, direct links to the videos are available (both from our own server and skydivingmovies.com)

The most recent addition is the video from the Texel wingsuit event, and the video from the Hoevenen (belgium) first flight day wil also be available soon.

If its a new suit you're interested in buying, we can hook you up with most demo's from Birdman products.

With Alex also awaiting delivery on his new suit. The whole team now flies the new Birdman Blade.

Its one of the largest suits out there at the moment, definately not aimed at beginners. It features double inflation and airlocks. Suitable for both belly and backflying.

If you are interested in trying the suit. Just ask, and we'll gladly let you demo one of our suits (granted you have proper experience flying smaller suits)
